A Common Language for Blended Learning Models among Instructors in Higher Education Institutions in the State of Kuwait

Abstract: Blended learning has recently yielded strong results as an educational mode, and blended instructions has been more effective, providing a rationale for the effort required designing and implementing blended approaches. As a concept, blended learning contains many different models and settings. Thus, it is the instructor’s choice of model that suits his class. This paper tried to highlight models of blended learning and which model is preferred by instructors in traditional and distance education institutions based on their choices and rationales in order to come up with a common understanding of the terms used in the pedagogy of blended learning.
